Sometimes you need to take a break from making jewelry, and instead talk about making jewelry over a cocktail. Yesterday I was lucky to spend a very happy, "happy hour" with my friend and fellow jeweler, Suzannah of Lark and Lotus Jewelry. Her work is gorgeous, very vintage and bohemian, with a mystical quality. So pretty!

Now onto the cocktails, Suzannah and I met up at Bouligny Tavern, on Magazine Street. We both had the La Madrugada, a yummy tequila and grapefruit combo. We accompanied our beverages with the fries and tarragon aioli. I could have eaten two plates by myself - they are so, so good! Everything was lovely, the drinks, the food, the swanky Mid-Century interior. Bouligny is owned by the chef of, and next door to, Lilette (one of my favorite restaurants) so you know everything is delish!
